We are hiring for the following positions:

Licensed Mental Health Therapist

 

Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapist

 

Licensure and Clinical Supervisor

At the moment these are hybrid model, part time and full time positions at both of our locations:

West Side (NW Flanders and 23rd ave) and at East Side (SE, Sandy and 10th).

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Licensed or registered to practice in the state of Oregon 

  • Proficient with delivering evidence-based treatment modalities treating shame, mood, anxiety & fear, and other developmental and complex trauma based disorders

  • Proficient in clinical documentation

  • Comfortable learning new software (Simple Practice; G-Suite)

  • Strong ability to develop and maintain professional & therapeutic relationships

  • Strong desire and ability to work as part of a diverse and culturally sensitive team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trained in and proficient in working with cultural diversity

  • Advanced training in working with complex trauma

  • Experience with mindfulness-based psychotherapies

  • Willing to train and use EMDR, or Brainspotting, or other body centered treatment modality

  • Desire and ability to learn and practice the art of being attuned and relational therapist (in house training provided)

  • Registered or willing to train & register as a licensure supervisor in Oregon

  • Strong ability to carry a client caseload in addition to training and supervising clinical staff

  • LCSW

Essential Functions:

  • Provide therapy that fits within the mission and values of Connections First, LLC

  • Provide focused therapy, including outcome measures and treatment planning (in house training provided)

  • Carry a clinical caseload and complete clinical documentation by the end of the day

  • Maintain the agreed number of sessions per week 

  • Participate in individual and group supervision meetings required for licensure

  • Participate in clinical case consultations, team meetings, in house trainings

  • Participate in on-going evidence-based specialty trainings (in house and out)

  • Give and receive feedback professionally

  • Complete all the necessary documentation and licensure requirements required by the State Board.

Additional Essential Functions for the supervisory position include:

  • Provide direct individual and group clinical supervision of clinical staff, supervision for licensure, performance evaluations, staff training

  • Provide clinical case consults to ensure the highest quality of patient care

  • Participate in bimonthly supervisors team meetings

  • Participate in quarterly whole team meetings

  • Participate (or lead) clinical consultations, team meetings, in house trainings

  • Help the management team ensure quality assurance activities, periodic programmatic consultation, and development of training plans

  • Facilitate resolution of team problems

  • Maintain licensure and adhere to all OR State and National Board certification requirements.
