“Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from your own actions.” — Dalai Lama
Deborah believes that the client/therapist relationship is sacred and is the cornerstone of the journey to come.
Deborah provides a space that is non-judgmental and safe, listening with intention, openness, and curiosity. This space enables development of rapport, encourages vulnerability, and is affirming. Deborah believes that everything that we need is within us and through this work, change is possible.
Deborah works with ages 18 and over. She has experience working with folx experiencing anxiety, depression, new or challenging diagnoses, disabilities, aging and cognitive disorders, life transitions, Autism, ADHD, and trauma.
Deborah identifies with the LGBTQ+ community and is deeply committed to providing trauma-informed, gender-affirming care. She approaches this work from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens, which is rooted in social justice.
Deborah is here to meet each person where they are. This is possible through the use of various treatment modalities. As the mind/body are inexplicably intertwined, Deborah leans in with somatic therapy and weaves in mindfulness, existential, relational, ACT informed, and solution-focused therapies.
