This year we are expanding at both locations, NW and SE, and throughout the year we will be hiring for the following positions:

 

1. Clinical & Licensure Supervisor

2.Licensed Mental Health Therapists

3. Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapists

 

These clinical positions are to provide either/or/and individual therapy for adults, adolescents, children and families, couples therapy, group therapy as well as clinical and licensure supervision for the supervisory position. 

 

Majority of these positions are full time (min 24 sessions/week); some are part-time (min 14 sessions/week). Benefits packages are dependent on the number of hours/week a clinician provides. 

 

These positions will be located at our Nob Hill NW Side (Flanders and 23rd ave) and at Central East Side (Sandy and 10th). At the moment they all are telehealth sessions. 

 

Start date is dependent upon insurance credentialing status and may take between 1-3 months for licensed positions. For pre-licensed positions it takes up to 1 month.

  1. Clinical &  Licensure Supervisor

       Minimum Qualifications Required: 

  • Min 5 years in mental health post licensure

  • License to practice in the state of Oregon 

  • Registered or willing to train & register as a licensure supervisor in Oregon 

  • Strong desire and ability to work as a part of a diverse and culturally sensitive team

  • Strong ability to develop and maintain professional & therapeutic relationships

  • Strong ability to carry a client caseload in addition to training and supervising clinical staff 

  • Proficient with delivering evidence-based treatment modalities treating shame, mood, anxiety & fear, developmental and complex trauma based disorders

  • Willing to train and use EMDR and/or Brainspotting treatment modalities

  • Proficient in clinical documentation

  • Comfortable learning new software

 

     Preferred Qualifications:

  • LCSW

  • Trained in EMDR and/or Brainspotting 

  • Advanced training in working with complex trauma

  • Experience with mindfulness-based psychotherapies

  • Trained in and proficient in working with cultural diversity 

 

       Essential Functions:

  • Provide direct individual and group clinical supervision of clinical staff, supervision for licensure, performance evaluations, staff training

  • Provide clinical case consults to ensure the highest quality of patient care 

  • Carry a clinical caseload and complete clinical documentation by the end of the day

  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings 

  • Help the management team ensure quality assurance activities, periodic programmatic consultation, and development of training plans

  • Give and receive feedback professionally

  • Facilitate resolution of team problems

  • Provide therapy that fits within the mission and values of Connections First, LLC

  • Maintain licensure and adhere to all Oregon State and National Board certification requirements

  • Participate in on-going evidence-based specialty trainings

 


 

   2. Licensed Mental Health Therapists 

       Minimum Qualifications Required: 

  • Min 3 years in mental health 

  • License to practice in the state of Oregon (PsyD, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT)

  • Strong desire and ability to work as part of a diverse and culturally sensitive team

  • Proficient with delivering evidence-based treatment modalities 

  • Experienced in treating shame, mood, anxiety & fear, developmental and complex trauma based disorders

  • Willing to train and use EMDR and/or Brainspotting treatment modalities

  • Proficient in clinical documentation

  • Comfortable learning new software

 

       Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trained in EMDR and/or Brainspotting 

  • Proficient with delivering evidence-based treatment modalities 

  • Advanced training in working with complex trauma

  • Experience with mindfulness-based psychotherapies

  • Trained in and proficient in working with cultural diversity

  • Maintain the agreed number of sessions per week and complete documentation by the end of the day

  • Provide focused therapy, including outcome measures and treatment planning

  • Participate in case consults and team meetings

  • Give and receive feedback professionally

  • Participate in on-going evidence-based specialty trainings

  • Maintain licensure and adhere to all Oregon State and National Board certification requirements



 

3. Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapists

 

​      Minimum Qualifications Required: 

  • Min 1 year in mental health 

  • Registered as an intern (CSWA, LPC Intern, or LMFT Intern) in the state of Oregon

  • Strong desire and ability to work as part of a diverse and culturally sensitive team

  • Trained in evidence-based modalities

  • Willing to train and use EMDR and/or Brainspotting treatment modalities

  • Experienced and interested improving skills in treating shame, fear, and trauma based disorders

  • Proficient in clinical documentation

  • Comfortable learning new software

 

       Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trained in EMDR and/or Brainspotting treatment modalities

  • Proficient with delivering evidence-based treatment modalities 

  • Comfortable working with Complex Trauma

  • Experience with mindfulness-based psychotherapies

 

       Essential Functions:

  • Provide therapy that fits within the mission and values of Connections First, LLC

  • Maintain the agreed number of sessions per week and complete documentation by the end of the day

  • Provide focused therapy, including outcome measures and treatment planning

  • Participate in case consults and team meetings
