Meet Taylor:

TAYLOR (tailor, to mend or cut) MURAHASHI (village bridge) is a powerful & proud bi-racial

fem/non-binary queer, first-wave immigrant, and Babaylan (community healer) living with a

disability. My lived experience, deep cultural roots, and commitment to healing, shape the way I

show up in therapeutic spaces as a facilitator- especially when walking alongside survivors of

trauma in change processes and liminal spaces, and individuals navigating systems of oppression

and colonization.

I work with adults and older adolescents, navigating trauma, identity and life transitions –

particularly those who have survived violence and systemic harm, including but not limited to

sexual assault, domestic violence, hate crimes, religious trauma, medical trauma, neglect, and

commercial sexual exploitation. I am honored to support LGBTQ+, BIPOC, immigrants &

emigrants, survivors of various types of violences, Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children

(CSEC)/sex traffic survivors, and disabled communities and reclaiming their stories and healing

paths.

In my free time, I commit to grassroots organizing, practices martial arts (MMA), gardens too

many vegetables, plays music with my talkative cat (aka assistant), and plays both board and

video games with her loved ones.

Clinical Background:

Through a decolonial and racial equity lens, I draw from multiple evidence based, culturally,

grounded, and decolonizing frameworks, tailoring each session to meet you where you are. I

integrate TF-CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and relational interventions, to honor participants’

autonomy and wisdom they uniquely bring.

What to Expect in Therapy:

Expect warmth, curiosity, and collaboration (& at times even a little bit of humor). I hold space

for vulnerable, courageous work, supporting you through difficult life, transitions, stuck places,

and healing journeys. Together will explore regulation, restoration, life skills building, and

empowerment look like for you – on your own terms.

I approach therapy as a collaborative, participant – centered process where we can create space

to explore experiences and reconnect your inner strengths. My work is intersectional, relational,

and rooted in trust, empowering you to restore your narrative and build a future aligned with

your values.
