Meet Nicole:
I believe that healing and growth happen within a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to navigate life's challenges while building greater self- awareness, resilience, and confidence.
I work with adolescents (12+), young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and stress. I also support individuals navigating suicidal thoughts, self- harm, and other complex emotional experiences. My practice is grounded in inclusivity and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
Therapeutic Approach:
My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based. I integrate evidence-based approaches including ACT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build coping strategies, gain insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. I tailor therapy to each individual's goals, strengths, and unique experiences.
Clinical Background:
I am a Clinical Social Work Associate with experience providing counselling, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and mental health support across community, outpatient and inpatient mental health settings. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote safety, healing, and ongoing wellbeing.
What to Expect in Therapy:
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. In our sessions you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are valued and respected. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, explore challenges, develop practical coping skills, and work towards goals that feel meaningful to you.
Sessions are tailored to each person's unique needs and pace.
Reaching out for support can be one of the most important steps toward healing and growth. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
