Meet Joshua (he/him):
I believe therapy begins with a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and genuine connection. I work collaboratively with my clients to create an environment where they feel seen, supported, and safe in their healing process.

I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community—especially Trans and gender-diverse individuals—and those recovering from religious trauma. I also have experience supporting people navigating addiction recovery, youth mental health challenges, and identity development.

​

Drawing from Internal Family Systems, Queer Theory, and Motivational Interviewing, I aim to help clients reconnect with themselves and build toward greater self-compassion and agency. As a sex-positive therapist, I approach this work with curiosity, affirmation, and deep respect for each person's lived experience.

Clinical Background:
Originally from Boise, Idaho, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boise State University and worked in addiction services and youth mental health before pursuing my Master of Social Work at Portland State University.

I offer an affirming, relational space where you can explore your inner landscape at your own pace. I show up with presence, patience, and genuine care.
