Meet John:
I’m committed to creating a space where you can feel fully seen, heard, and respected. I approach therapy as a collaborative process—grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and a belief that each person is the expert of their own life. I aim to build a trusting relationship that can support meaningful insight and lasting change.

I work with adults and couples navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, relationship issues, emotional stuckness, or a sense of disconnection from self or others.

Therapeutic Approach:
My work is grounded in the psychodynamic perspective. I’m interested in how life experiences and relational patterns shape the way we move through the world. I also draw on ACT to support clients in shifting unhelpful behaviors and building lives rooted in their values, with the intent of providing a road map to “the good life.”. Together, we’ll work to uncover deeper meaning, build resilience, and create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Clinical Background:
I’m a Professional Counselor Associate with experience supporting adults and couples in both individual and relational contexts. My clinical training has focused on the integration of insight-oriented and action-based therapies, and I remain committed to lifelong learning and deepening my understanding of what it takes to make real change in our lives.

What to Expect in Therapy:
You can expect thoughtful engagement, honest reflection, and a therapist who respects the effort it takes to seek support. My therapeutic style is more exploratory than it is directive. I believe that change involves both intention and courage, and I’ll walk alongside you as you explore new ways of being that feel more aligned and empowering.

If you’re ready to look inward, build awareness, and open to some degree of sacrifice in the pursuit of growth, I’d be honored to support you.
