Meet Daniel:
I believe therapy is a collaborative and transformative process grounded in authentic connection, compassionate curiosity, and safety. It’s in that spirit that I strive to work alongside clients, as they move towards the lives they want.
While I value working with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, I work primarily with adults (18+) navigating a range of concerns including depression, bipolar, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges.
My approach is grounded in systems theory, and trauma-informed care. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and elements of IFS to create a safe non- judgmental space for clients to explore experiences while empowering clients to live according to their values.
Clinical Background:
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University and am a Clinical Social Work Associate in Oregon. I have worked in addiction treatment and community mental health settings, both outpatient and residential. As a pre-licensed clinician, I am committed to professional development and using supervision to provide high-quality care.
What to Expect in Therapy:
I strive to show up as warm, present, and relational. You can expect a balance of reflection and action paired with ongoing collaboration to ensure we are moving at your pace and working towards your goals.
Deciding to look for support is a courageous step, and sifting through mountains of information to find the right fit can be overwhelming. I’m glad to answer any questions and wish you the best on your journey.
