Meet Beth:
I believe that every person carries a story that deeply influences how they show up in relationships and how they see themselves. I also know how vulnerable it can feel to share that story in therapy. That’s why I begin by creating a trusting, nonjudgmental space and approaching the work with gentle transparency and compassion.
I work with children of all ages—including infants—and support pregnant parents through Infant Mental Health work. I also see adolescents, adults, and families—especially those navigating trauma, family system disruptions, or caregiving stress. I have particular experience with foster and adoptive families, survivors of domestic violence, and parents working to support their children’s emotional and behavioral wellbeing.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, flexible, and centered on your goals. I draw from a wide range of trauma-informed and attachment-focused therapies, including CPP, DBT, sand tray, and EMDR. I also bring specialized training as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, along with focused work on narcissistic abuse and the long-term impacts of emotionally immature parenting. I tailor the work to meet each client where they are and regularly check in to ensure our work is resonant and effective.
Clinical Background:
With over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve worked in domestic violence shelters, foster care and adoption agencies, child and family support services, and outpatient mental health clinics. I’ve spent the last several years providing intensive support to children and their caregivers, and I continue to bring that depth of knowledge and care to all my clinical work.
What to Expect in Therapy:
You can expect warmth, honesty, and collaboration. I aim to help you better understand your story, reflect on its impact, and begin to grow beyond survival into a life that feels more connected and empowered.
If you’re curious about beginning therapy or exploring new possibilities for healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
