Meet Ama:
As a therapist, I offer a space where you can be seen and supported as your whole self. I believe that healing happens in relationships—with ourselves, with others, and with the communities we’re a part of. My work is grounded in cultural humility, compassion, and deep respect for your lived experiences. Whether you're navigating trauma, life transitions, or simply longing for a more connected sense of self, I’m here to walk alongside you.

I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds, and I have a special interest in supporting those with complex trauma, dissociative disorders, women, and those experiencing interpersonal conflict. I also welcome clients processing intergenerational trauma, family pain, and systemic harm.

My practice is relational, trauma-informed, and rooted in social justice. I draw from IFS, systems theory, DBT and attachment framework to help clients feel more present, empowered, and connected. I work collaboratively and will always meet you with curiosity and care. Together, we’ll explore patterns, strengthen self-understanding, and move toward healing that feels sustainable.

Clinical Background:
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience in outpatient mental health, community-based mental health, clinical supervision, and advocacy work. My background includes supporting individuals and families in navigating trauma, addiction, and interpersonal stressors. I bring this depth of experience into the therapy room with humility and care.

What to Expect in Therapy:
I offer a warm, grounded presence and a steady partnership. You can expect a space where your stories are honored, your truths are heard, and your healing is nurtured. I will support you in tuning into your own wisdom and strengths as we explore what’s no longer working—and what might be possible instead.

Therapy is not about “fixing” you—it’s about coming home to yourself. If you’re ready to begin that journey, I would be honored to work with you.
