Meet Q (any pronouns):
I bring my whole, authentic, and deeply human self into the therapy room. As a white, neurodivergent, queer clinician with lived experience of religious trauma and healing, I aim to offer a space where you can show up as you are—messy, evolving, and worthy of care.
I work with teens (13+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-worth, trauma recovery, and neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD. Many of my clients are exploring how their identities and past experiences shape their relationships, beliefs, and sense of self.
I work from a strengths-based, person-centered perspective, integrating parts work, Gestalt theory, and polyvagal-informed strategies. My goal is to help you reconnect with your inner resources, foster curiosity and compassion for yourself, and support you in becoming more of who you already are. I recognize the inherent power dynamics in therapy and work to stay accountable, culturally humble, and continually learning.
Clinical Background:
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies and Writing & Rhetoric Studies from the University of Utah and a Master’s degree in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Portland State University.
What to Expect in Therapy:
Therapy with me is collaborative and attuned. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space grounded in mutual respect and authenticity. Together, we’ll explore what healing looks like for you and move at a pace that feels right.
You deserve care that honors your whole self—and I would be honored to walk with you on that path.
