Katherine Schule, Professional Counselor Associate, CADC I (she/her/hers)
Katherine’s approach is rooted in the belief that therapy is a collaborative process aimed at building connection, with others and within ourselves. She strives to create a growth-fostering environment of empathy, curiosity, and cultural humility, with the understanding that each individual is an expert on their unique lived experience. Through cultivating hope, wisdom, and a bit of humor, the therapeutic relationship has the potential to build upon your inherent strengths.
Katherine draws from multiple therapeutic approaches, including Relational-Cultural Theory, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT. She believes that listening to what arises in the moment, both in the mind and the body, is important to the healing process, and that therapy can help you develop a vocabulary to better understand and communicate these experiences.
Katherine has experience working with adults navigating mental health concerns and addictions and adopts an authentic and non-judgmental approach with every client. She practices from an anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trauma-informed perspective.

Katherine believes that everyone has the strengths within them to make the changes they wish to see in their lives, and she hopes to support you in empowering yourself to do so.
