All people face times of trials and pain but we do not have to be stuck there. Chelsea believes that counseling begins with where you are at, with you steering the course of your therapeutic work, and collaborating together. She focuses on providing a safe place to explore how you think about and present yourselves as well as how you understand and connect with others. She values collaboration, respect, compassion, and authenticity.
Understanding that beginning, transferring, or returning to counseling can be anxiety provoking; Chelsea strives to work with you to help therapy fit your specific needs. She has experience providing therapy in counseling offices, schools, outdoors, and client’s homes. Chelsea collaborates with individuals and families to remove barriers to living their
lives more fully.
Counseling with Chelsea focuses on supporting your work through gaining greater insight into yourself, confidence in your ability to understand your thoughts and emotions, and relational skills. Additionally, her therapy is informed by Person-Centered, Mindfulness, Gestalt, Narrative, Family Systems, Sandtray, and expressive therapy.
