“As we become aware of ourselves as storytellers we realize we can use our stories to heal and make ourselves whole"

- Susan Wittig Albert

We all have a unique and rich story to tell. Because each person and their experiences are unique, Anna takes an individualized approach to the therapeutic process and offers intentional presence and space to get to know you for your authentic self.

Anna sees mental health and wellness from a holistic lens, involving mind, body, and spirit. She believes that the mental health of an individual informs the measure of wellness embodied in one's collective community and environment. Anna sees healing in reclaiming authorship over our own lives and wants the youth and families she works with to feel empowered through the therapeutic process.

Anna has specialized in working with children, adolescents, and their families for over ten years in various mental health settings including inpatient and residential settings, school-based settings, outpatient mental health settings, and experiential therapy settings which include wilderness immersion and equine-assisted therapies.

Anna practices from a humanistic and person-centered orientation. Anna maintains an anti-oppressive practice, stands with the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, and is dedicated to providing trauma-informed care.

Anna has specialized training in the following therapeutic modalities and orientations: gestalt-based expressive arts and play therapy interventions, collaborative problem solving, Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) Framework, depth psychology and archetypal studies, narrative therapy, ecotherapy, somatic mindfulness, DBT, ACT, and expressive art interventions.

She engages with creativity and genuine curiosity, allows space for humor and playfulness, and acknowledges the here and now in the room.
